An evening of funky flair bartenders and smart staff serving some great party food and delicious cupcakes.

A Wonderful Wedding at the Downs School

This great group of family and friends had an absolute blast on a sunny Summer afternoon and evening at the Downs School, Wraxall.

Champagne and cocktails were the order of the day, with an outdoor reception followed by a funky glow-bar later in the evening.

The white and bling décor provided all the glamour needed for this lovely couple to celebrate their special day.

Guests carved their own fillets of beef – with obligatory chefs aprons and hats – and enjoyed fireworks and dancing within the starcloth nightclub into the early hours.

Thank you to Ed Clayton for allowing us to use these stunning photographs from the day.

Clifton College’s Commemoration Ball

A ball for 1,600 guests to celebrate Clifton College’s 150th Anniversary took place in a suitably large and stunningly decorated marquee in the grounds of Clifton College.

As guests arrived they were wowed by stilt walkers and welcomed into the marquee. As dinner was called and guests took their seats they were in awe of the glamor and glitz of the main room.

The tables were dressed in rich fabric with stunning vases filled with coloured feathers and candelabras illuminated the room in a soft glow.

After dinner the casino and fun fair opened for all to enjoy. The celebration was truly in full swing once the 10-peiece band took to the stage for an energetic performance that ensured all guests got up to dance the night away.

A Year 8 Leavers Party that Ended with a Bang!

As lots of excitable children arrived to celebrate the end of term they were greeted with dodgems, a 61ft bouncy assault course and a disco all of their own.

Whilst the hog roast was being fired up and the fizzy drinks were flowing, parents enjoyed the cocktails and canapés. The chocolate fountain proved a big hit for adults and children alike as they dipped their skewers full of treats under the flowing chocolate.

The DJ had everyone jumping by the end of the evening and as he played his final track guests were invited outside to witness a spectacular firework display that twinkled and shone in the night sky before everyone went home for a well-earned rest.

A Charming English Wedding

The sun shone over the marquee in the lovely grounds of a private residence creating a beautiful backdrop for a spring wedding.

The interior of the marquee was light and fresh with crisp white tablecloths, delicate peonies and stylish candelabras adorning the tables.

A champagne reception was enjoyed outside whilst the chefs put the finishing touches to the delicious three-course meal.

After dinner and of course the Best Man’s speech the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance. With the back-lit circular serving custom drinks and cocktails the guests partied the night away to a live band until it was time for the bride and groom to leave under a blaze of sparklers in a vintage car.

Hot-Pink Spring Drinks at Riverstation Restaurant

ACEs were delighted to be asked to organise a Spring Drinks for a Bristol-based law firm at Riverstation Restaurant on the waterfront on a sunny evening in May.

This was the fourth event ACEs have managed for this client and we were pleased to host yet another memorable party for this corporate team.

Sparkling lights, hot-pink uplighters and linen, excellent food and drink made this a night to remember.

With the excellent weather many guests enjoyed the views from the venue’s balcony throughout the evening.

Clifton College Classic Car Wheeze

ACEs teamed up with Clifton College to put on a series of exciting events to celebrate their 150th anniversary, the first of which was the Classic Car Wheeze.

As car enthusiasts and families looking for a fun day out poured through the gates of Memorial Arch they were greeted with displays of prestigious, classic and modern cars, including Bentley, Alvis, Roll-Royce and Porsche.

The vibrant atmosphere was down to the array of exciting activities on offer, from bouncy castles and radio-controlled cars to musical performances and the variety of local stalls selling homemade toys, gifts and delicious food.

As the day drew to a close all eyes were on the sky as spitfires flew overhead and an impressive helicopter take-off signalled the end of the spectacular event.

A Charity Dinner for The Prince’s Trust

ACEs were delighted to organise an event for such a worthy cause. The Red Dinner raised over £64,000 that will go towards helping young people into work.

Clifton College was the perfect venue for the first Prince’s Trust Gala Dinner. A warm red hue illuminated the impressive buildings to welcome invited guests and set the theme for the rest of the evening.

Guests enjoyed champagne and canapés in the Percival Library before moving to the Great Hall, which was extravagantly dressed to suit the red colour scheme. Centrepieces made up of red and white feathers adorned the round dining tables.

The Upper School Chamber Choir took to the stage and entertained guests with a beautiful performance before singer Ruby Turner rounded off the evening with a rousing rendition.

All Aboard for Tower Bridge!

All Aboard for Tower Bridge!

This company launch, for a dynamic 3D innovative design company based in London, needed a very special event.  ACEs coordinated for all of the guests to stay at The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch where they enjoyed a champagne reception on a vintage double-decker bus whilst being entertained by a Cliff Richard look-a-like.  Obviously, We’re All Going On A Summer Holiday was the song of choice all the way to Tower Bridge!

A magician entertained with some thrilling tricks during the reception of canapés and fizz.  Guests were then seated on a long, banqueting table topped with custom made ‘buzz-boxes’ for guests to try their best steady-hand around the company logo.  An extra surprise was in store during the main course, when the waiters revealed themselves as opera singers and serenaded guests into the night.  After the evening’s delights suspended over the River Thames, guests were whisked back to the hotel on their red London bus for a nightcap in the hotel bar.
