As guests made their way through the prosecco reception, a hallway lined with photographs guided guests up the enchanting staircase of Bristol Grammar School. Centre stage sat an impressive gold circular bar which was surrounded by golden plinths, finished with a stunning plume of black feathers and golden glitter-there was no mistaking the colour scheme for this private party.
No detail was left to chance and even the drinks were colour coordinated; our guests chose to bring the party to life with three calls to shots, as a gong rang throughout the hall guests were invited to choose one of three black or gold shots to drink with their hosts.
As the party continued we circulated with delicious traditional Cornish pasties, filled with a variety of fillings to ensure the guests could keep dancing long into the evening.
A five tier cake took pride of place on the stage, the chocolate sponge layered with salted caramel was decorated with black diamonds and edible 24 carat gold flakes. The show stopping masterpiece from Cuppa Cakery looked incredible as dappled light bounced off the golden bar and around the room.
