An Autumnal Shoot

We were delighted to be invited back to our client’s home to assist them with their annual Autumn Shoot day. An exquisite menu by El Cuisine saw guests begin with a breakfast of with locally sourced bacon served in fresh baps, enjoyed with a mug of delicious coffee shortly before guests headed out on the shoot. For elevenses, guests refuelled on a selection of delicious warming treats including French onion soup, roasted chipolatas in mustard and honey and homemade Scotch eggs. All enjoyed with a glass of Champagne and a slice of warm Apple and Cinnamon cake.

Whilst the guests were out on the shoot our wonderful florist was hard at work creating a stunning Autumnal inspired table centrepiece that was brought to life with delicate tealights. After freshening up and tending to the dogs, guests were greeted with a glass of fizz and were seated around the long table surrounded by the warmth from the open fire.

Guests enjoyed a smoked salmon and poached salmon terrine for starters, followed by a rack of lamb was served with a traditional jus and herby potato cake along with a selection of seasonal vegetables; complemented by carefully selected wines. Little pots of Date & Pecan Sticky Toffee Pudding and Apple & Blackberry Crumble were served from slate plates, shortly followed by a variety cheese served with fine crackers and grapes accompanied by Italian roasted coffee.
