The Prince’s Trust Hollywood Red Dinner

Clifton College, March 2014

ACEs were delighted to return to Clifton College to organise The Prince’s Trust Red Dinner. This year the theme was Hollywood. Gold Glitter Oscar statues stood at the entrance to the school as guests made their way along the glamorous red carpet, various cardboard cut outs of celebrities filled the reception area whilst in the Great Hall centrepieces of mini Oscar statues and film reels adorned the tables.

Guests enjoyed a three course ‘Red’ themed dinner of Kedgeree Croquette, Confit Belly of Pork and a White Chocolate with Red Cherries Cheesecake followed by a fantastic Cheese Board which was enjoyed during the performances.

Entertainment was provided by X Factor’s Alexandra Burke, The Voice UK’s Celestine Walcott-Gordon and the evening’s host Omid Djalili. Guests were able to bid in the silent auction throughout the evening using the iPads provided and the evening finished with a hugely successful live auction.

It was fantastic news to hear that the dinner raised more than £90,000 to support unemployed young people in the South West a big thank you to all those involved!

“As usual the evening ran seamlessly which is down to your brilliant team!”

A MASSIVE thank you to you and your team for your hard work in putting on a first class event. The feedback has been fantastic with lots of great conversations with; corporates and sponsors who want to be involved next year, individual supporters who are looking at further support and engagement. Many hangovers too....So a very successful evening with lots of doors opening for the Prince’s Trust. The total is creeping up and it looks like we raised just shy of a MAGNIFICANT £70k.  This money will go a long way in supporting young people in the South West
