Christmas Party Theme Ideas!

Christmas is always a special time of year for getting friends and family together to celebrate, so we wanted to share some of our favourite Christmas party themes. Whether you are looking to plan a party for 200 guests or even just a super special family occasion we have Christmas party themes, allowing something for everyone!

Frozen Christmas Themed Party

Wow your guests from arrival with a fir tree lined entrance, decorated with icicles, crisp white snow, and lots of twinkly fairy lights. Traditional style lamp posts dotted between the trees, will give beautiful ambient lighting.

Once inside the venue, cool tones of lilacs, blues and ice whites will greet the guests. Candles, napkins, and ribbons are a wonderful addition to a party, and are a beautifully subtle way of incorporating your chosen colour scheme.

Menu cards, bar menus and seating plans are also a great way of incorporating your colour scheme and any branding into the event.

To capture the night, a dramatic wintery backdrop for posing with all the usual fun accessories to create really fun, festive photos!

How about surprising your guests with singing waiters, to really get the party started!

And the theming doesn’t end there – staff can be dressed with sparkles whilst still being super smart and ready to help at any time!

Great Gatsby Themed Party

This party is all about the glamour!

It starts with the dress code – have your guests dress in their best Great Gatsby/1920s attire – think feathers, beads, black and gold!

A red carpet arrival is the perfect opportunity for guests to show off their outfits and will be greeted by a roving reporter, ready to catch an interview or two! Who are they with? Can they talk through their outfit? Are they excited about being invited to one of Gatsby’s famous big ball bashes?

Once inside, Jay Gatsby will be ready to greet guests, leading them to the bar, but before guests are allowed in to dine, Gatsby must formally invite everyone in and detail the house rules.

A 1920s style photo booth will be awaiting guests ready to capture the evening’s events. Complete with back drops, props and a host to ensure the poses struck are along the roaring 1920s theme.

Serve a classy 1920s cocktail, ‘The Bees Knees’ with gin, lemon and honey syrup, served to guests in a coupe.

Traditional Christmas Themed Party

Set the scene with Christmas carol singers creating the perfect soundtrack to your drinks reception.

Your very special guests could arrive into a log cabin-esque reception space decorated in the style of Santa’s workshop. Christmas trees decorated with baubles and twinkling fairy lights. And not forgetting the faux fireplace, creating a warm cosy atmosphere.

To add a little theatre to arrival drinks an aerial act could pour champagne, creating a key focal point.

When called to dine guests could find personalised Christmas stockings filled with small treats on the back of their chair instead of place name cards! A great way to include a favour for all your guests.

How about creating a Christmas menu in the style of ‘The 12 days of Christmas’ for your guests to enjoy?

An after-dinner roller disco show would be the perfect entertainment for your party! A dance routine, with performers kitted out in all the sequins!
