Badminton School Celebrations

Celebrating a hugely successful end to their academic year, Badminton School commenced their week of celebrations in the sensational heatwave, showcasing the greatest achievements of the school and pupils. With formal speeches celebrating all things academic, there was intertwined reflections on sporting prowess (and the development of their new purpose built sport facility) and musical demonstrations. Fuelled by cream teas, prospective parents were also welcomed into the school.

As custom, the final event of the week was the end of year ball. A much anticipated opportunity for parents to gather and reflect on their children’s time at the school – as well as have fun with old friends! As the sun shone, we were on hand to serve a chilled champagne reception on the lawns, a much welcomed refreshment for those parents who had ventured from the four corners of the globe.

This year, the Badminton School ball was “A Night with the Stars”, and naturally guests entered down a luxury red carpet before stopping for their photo opportunity. As they ventured into the CMC Marquee, many were astounded at the transformation we had achieved from speeches conducted only hours earlier.

Fosters Event Catering provided an exquisite three course meal; composed of a cooling tomato and mozzarella stack, succulent lamb and Mediterranean vegetables and followed by a trio of indulgent desserts, chocolate delice, raspberry cheesecake, hibiscus and champagne jelly.

This year the Badminton School ball was hosted as a fundraiser to two local charities – both of which with special connections to the school and parents. In order to raise life changing funds, a live auction was conducted after dinner  – with some unique and exotic prizes available the school was detailed to raise thousands on the night.

As their resident DJ took to the stage the dance floor filled, as the night drew to a close we were on hand with fresh coffee and cheese boards – perfect for enjoying under the star lit gardens in the cool summer evening.
