Bath Corporate Festival

Alastair Currie Events had the absolute pleasure of working with a repeat corporate client to provide complete event design and management for the third year in a row. This year’s “Chill n Grill” festival-themed party was set at the picturesque Walcot RFC, offering ample green space for an unforgettable day of fun and relaxation.

Partnering with our trusted suppliers, we crafted an extraordinary event that exceeded expectations. CMC Marquees built two impressive structures: one for catering and another for the main event. Fosters supplied a mouth watering BBQ featuring juicy burgers, chicken skewers, and halloumi & vegetable kebabs, complemented by a variety of summer salads. As a delightful surprise, guests enjoyed a meringue station with an array of flavours and toppings – the perfect sweet treat after a savoury meal!

Guests were warmly welcomed by our cheerful staff and entertained by a line-up of talented performers, including a mesmerising hula hoop act, a magician, and the hilarious and captivating Acrochaps. The site was adorned with beautiful festoon lighting and bunting, creating a charming and festive atmosphere. The open-fronted marquees provided the perfect summer venue, allowing guests to easily mingle and enjoy the festivities.

The rustic bar, with a selection of draught beer and cider, took centre stage within the marquee, alongside a stage and DJ booth, glitter bar, and photo booth. Ample seating was provided both inside the marquee and outside in the glorious sunshine. Guests could dance, socialize, or partake in games like hoopla, quoits, and Connect 4.

ACEs handled every detail, ensuring that each guest returned safely to Bath courtesy of our luxury coaches. The event was a resounding success, characterized by fun, relaxation, and positive energy. We were thrilled to receive wonderful feedback both during and after the party.
