Corporate Conference at Christmas

We had the pleasure of transforming the historic St George’s in the heart of Bristol for our client’s corporate conference, creating a truly memorable and cinematic experience. With the client seeking a dramatic atmosphere that reflected the theme of their event, we embraced the opportunity to turn this iconic space into a stunning old vintage cinema experience.

As guests entered through the grand wooden doors, they were warmly greeted by the Alastair Currie Events team, who were on hand to assist with coats and welcome them with an array of freshly baked treats. From iced cinema-themed shortbreads to classic popcorn, every detail was designed to delight. Guests sipped on warming mugs of spiced mulled wine, mulled cider, and a selection of teas and coffees, setting the tone for a cozy and festive gathering.

A canopy of fairy lights, delicately draped across St George’s, creating a soft, inviting glow, and a magical and festive atmosphere. Our staff, dressed in themed attire, circulated with trays of more indulgent treats and hot drinks during intervals, ensuring that guests felt truly looked after throughout the event.

The stage, designed to blend seamlessly with both the cinema theme and the client’s branding, featured a custom-built screen where the company’s entertaining content was showcased. This added a personal touch to the event, ensuring it was not only functional but also fun and engaging for all attendees.

Following the conference, the festive spirit continued as guests transitioned to the evening’s after-party. With dresses and bow ties in hand, they were whisked off to celebrate in style, while we put the finishing touches on a glamorous, Transatlantic Christmas Party at Aerospace Bristol.
