We took our clients corporate conference to the wonderful St Georges’s in the heart of Bristol. With the event just days before Christmas, we took the opportunity to bring all things festive to this occasion.
As guests entered through the historic wooden doorway, Alastair Currie Events were on hand to help with coats and invite guests to enjoy a freshly baked treat. We provided a selection of irresistible treats; iced festive Christmas tree shortbread, mince pies, stolen bites, chocolate drizzled flapjack and mouth watering ginger breads. Served with a warming mug of spiced mulled wine, mulled cider, tea or coffee.
As guests made their way to their seats they were greeted with a surprise gift containing a take home mug and hot chocolate stirrer – perfect as a branded yet practical and enjoyable gift.
A canopy of fairy lights spanning across St George’s created both a beautiful, warming light and a very festive and inviting atmosphere. Christmas wreathes, ribbons and lighting was wrapped around each of the iconic pillars – the perfect colour accompaniment to the red and gold chairs that we provided.
Complete with a bespoke stage, in keeping with both the Christmas theme and company branding, we provided an inbuilt screen which enabled our clients amusing content to be played – a particular favourite of the guests being the company directors elf rendition of All I Want For Christmas. Creating the perfect backdrop for their guest speakers and an engaging way to deliver key messages of the corporate conference.
After the conference, guests were whisked off to don their flapper dresses and bow ties as we put the finishing touches to their Great Gatsby themed party at the nearby Bristol Grammar School.
