Complete event management for end of year school event in Bristol.
We enjoyed another fantastic event delivery of the end of year school events at Badminton School, Bristol. We are very privileged to have a great long standing relationship with many of Bristol’s most well regarded schools, and we deliver events throughout the school year at many locations. In particular our event design and management, keen eye & calm approach are particularly in demand for the end year events for Commemorations, prize givings, speeches & end of year ceremonies.
An occasion to bring together a large portion of the school along with their families’, calls for a large marquee and plenty of furniture, technical install, catering and decor – and we are always happy to be on hand for the duration of their events!
Schools often have a full calendar throughout their celebration week, a range of occasions bringing pupils past and present together to celebrate the successes of the year and to look back to years gone by. The need for one point of contact to cover all bases, especially at such a busy time is invaluable; this is where Alastair Currie Events comes in.
Each year we provide Badminton School with an entirely bespoke structure set across the two natural levels on the school’s lawn, creating a natural stage using the features to our advantage!
It is always such a pleasure to assist this client with such important annual events, from assisting with bringing in the basics such as power and lighting to ensure the marquee is fully functioning, through to a bespoke ramp to ensure easy access to the temporary venue for all guests, and even right down to a food tasting to help our client to decide on their chosen menu for the Ball; the crown jewel in the week of celebrations.
Theming for the end of year Ball is different each year, this year was the time to add a little 1920s glamour with a Great Gatsby theme – the dress code was certainly adhered to with a very glamorous, 1920s styled guest list! A fun-packed timeline meant guests were well entertained for the evening – live auctions, a stunning three course dinner, a DJ and of course a full stocked bar, meant that this was a night to remember.
