From the outset, the couple shared their vision through mood boards and ideas, allowing us to tailor our approach to their unique style and preferences. Our philosophy is centred around ensuring that our clients feel comfortable and involved every step of the way, and this wedding was no exception.
The stunning venue, The Rectory, provided the perfect backdrop for a winter wedding. Our task was to elevate the dining experience with a marquee that would leave guests in awe. With the help of CMC Marquees, we were able to build a breathtaking setting, complete with starlit ceilings and clear walls that offered glimpses of the picturesque garden surrounding the marquee.
The magic started from the moments guests arrived with a surprise performance from Vocal Works Gospel Choirs and the enchanting Alderton during the ceremony and drinks reception, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
After the drinks reception, guess were ushered into the marquee, they were greeted by a scene straight out of a winter wonderland, with Christmas trees, exquisite tablescapes, and a stunning floral ceiling installation all courtesy of Flowers by Thea.
The wedding breakfast, served by The Rectory team, was a delicious 3-course meal, accompanied by laughter-filled speeches and a delightful rendition of the “12 Days of Christmas” performed by all party guests. As day turned into night, the party carried on with music from BEAT, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty.
Every detail, from scented candles to meticulously tied napkin bows, was carefully considered, thanks to our close collaboration with the couple and support from our amazing suppliers. We are immensely grateful for the trust they placed in us and the opportunity to be part of their special day.
