Great Gatsby Party

Bristol Grammar School, December 2017

After their corporate conference, our client was welcomed back in time to their Great Gatsby themed corporate Christmas party.

Arriving through the beautiful twisting stair case, guests were welcomed into Bristol Grammar School’s Great Hall which – with the help of velvet, star encrusted linings – had been transformed.  With a glass of champagne in hand, guests made their way to the tables; lined with luxurious feather blooms, towering crystal candelabras, twisted lamps and sparkling mirror boxes provided towering height, brilliant colour and contrast across the long tables.

A sensational straight glow bar featured our clients unique branding and was embellished with 1920’s decals and featuring a nostalgic skyline. In contrast, the opposing stage featured towering art deco glitter panels with white, black and gorgeous gold catching the light and drawing all attention to our incredible band.

Dressed in their finest braces and glittering across the room, dinner was served by our characterised waiting staff. A scrumptious sharing platter presumed a main of Hereford beef or vegetarian parcel served with glazed vegetables, whipped truffle and red wine syrup.  As the plates of mini dessert was served, the dance floor erupted as the incredible Gatsby Girls showed everyone how to shake their tail feathers to the classic Charleston moves.

Encouraging everyone onto the dance floor with them, the Gatsby Girls provided endless entertainment for both those dancing and those watching on. After a masterclass performance, the Gatbsy Girls mingled with guests and posed for some fun photographs.

To keep the party spirits high, our sensational covers band ventured to the stage to provide some incredible music to keep everyone on their feet. As our resident DJ closed the evening, those wishing for a midnight munchies could enjoy the variety of cheese and port on offer.

A quite literally ‘roaring’ evening was had by all!
