The ACEs team were whisked away to sunny Padstow for the beautiful wedding of E & C. After working closely with our couple for just over a year, we explored a number of stunning seaside locations before they found their perfect setting – the historic Prideaux Place, just a stone’s throw from Padstow’s charming harbour.

The ceremony was held at St Petroc’s Church, where the entrance, aisles, and altar were adorned with seasonal, Cornish-hedgerow florals. Following the vows, guests set off on a short stroll to the reception, guided by a trail of ribbons that wound through Padstow’s charming streets, before arriving at the elegant formal gardens of Prideaux Place.
Guests were greeted with a glass of Camel Valley fizz, delicious canapés from Fee’s and heartfelt speeches under the Cornish sun. The gardens at Prideaux Place were the perfect setting for their drinks reception – shade was provided by large parasols, and guests mingled around a mix of tables, chairs and clothed poseur tables dotted across the gardens. The steps leading down into the gardens doubled as a natural stage for speeches and the central fountain and colourful florals were a stunning backdrop.
After speeches in the formal gardens, guests made their way around to the front gardens of Prideaux Place and into the beautiful Sperry Tent.
Inside the marquee, long tables were clothed in with pistachio green linen, white napkins and pink flowers arranged in glass vases dotted through the table centres. Green and pink taper candles added warmth and height, complemented by green-rimmed plates, polished silver ribbed cutlery, sage green water glasses and matching water jugs. Each place setting included a unique slate stone, hand-lettered for each guest, adding a personal and meaningful touch to the table.
Overhead, floral installations floated above the guests as they dined.
A bespoke round striped bar – a special request from the couple and colours hand-picked for the day – stood as the central feature in the marquee and acted as a backdrop for further speeches.
Dinner was relaxed and sociable, beginning with sharing-style starters for guests to tuck into. The main course was Greek inspired, a crowd favourite! The meal was concluded with an indulgent duo of brownie and mousse for dessert and the cutting of the cake by the newly-wed’s!
The evening celebrations began with the reveal of the stage and a dazzling mirror ball. The couple shared their first dance beneath the sparkle of the disco lights, before The Moments took to the stage for their opening set — quickly filling the dance floor.
We loved being part of such a joyful occasion in one of Cornwall’s most picturesque settings.
