Sun-soaked Outdoor Dining

Alastair Currie Events were delighted to return this this beautiful property for a fun-filled birthday celebration, with the aim to provide something different to previous celebrations – relaxed & pretty for this special outdoor dining gathering of family & friends.

We love these vintage wooden dining tables & the stunning crossback chairs, and combined with the olive linen and the ivory & foliage filled floral arrangements the table looked fresh, inviting & very Summer-ready!

Our guests were delighted with an incredible menu of delectable canapes (including some stunning wholegrain mustard & Parmesan scones, with cream cheese & bacon bits!) followed by a seated three-course meal as the sun started to cool.  A fresh & tasty Crispy duck salad with watermelon, pomegranate, radicchio & a soy dressing kicked things off, followed with a sharing slow-cooked lamb main (with sag aloo, charred cauliflower, pittas & a yoghurt and chicory salad) and then a selection of Eton mess and Chocolate mousse pots to finish.

Guests enjoyed the Summer sun, with a fantastic afternoon of fine wine and delicious food, all beautifully surrounded with pretty bunting, pastel paper lanterns & the stunning garden as the ideal backdrop!
