Licensed for both weddings and civil partnerships, Merchants’ Hall can accommodate your big day in three of their rooms. Alternatively, with so many churches, cathedrals and other religious venues near by, Merchants’ Hall is the an ideal spot for the post ceremony reception.

 

A sweeping double staircase which leads into numerous private spaces, including a reception room with Steinway piano, antique furniture and gilt framed paintings; filled with natural light courtesy of the large windows and glistening chandeliers.

With enough room to comfortably seat 100 guests, the dining room boasts stunning 18th century Georgian chandeliers and an array of lavish paintings and art to admire. Leaving the dining room, guests can venture out onto the raised stone garden terrace – overlooking the perfectly manicured lawns and ideal for a beautiful photo opportunity.

History

Built in 1868, Merchants’ Hall is a Grade Two listed building in the heart of Bristol. A stunning and historical Victorian statement of architecture with incredible internal detail and high quality décor and finish, with a manicured, spacious garden providing a rare treat in the city centre.
