When our client approached us with the idea of hosting a festival-themed event in their outdoor barn, we couldn’t wait to turn their vision into a reality. At ACEs, we thrive on creativity, and this project allowed us to use our imagination to transform their back garden into a festival experience for their friends and family.
From the outset, we collaborated closely with our client, who supplied the stunning venue and shared the ideas of her vision. With their inspiration as our guide, we went to the drawing board to look at every aspect of the festival theme, from vibrant flags to enticing food trucks and, of course, a dazzling stage for the star DJs, as no festival is complete without music.
The event required meticulous planning and preparation, spanning two days of setup. Rain or shine, we were determined to ensure the party went on! To bring this festival vision to life, we had the pleasure of collaborating with a mix of our loyal suppliers, as well as discovering some incredible new partners.
Our tech team at SLX played a vital role, providing all the essential rigging and state-of-the-art speakers for the ultimate Barn Rave. Meanwhile, Event Flag Hire enhanced the ambience with a series of colourful festival flags and bunting that beautifully tied the scene together, immersing guests in an authentic festival vibe.
Of course, no festival experience is complete without a food truck with some tasty treats, and our chosen suppliers exceeded all expectations. Fat Dad’s Kitchen delighted attendees with an exquisite Middle Eastern menu featuring chicken tabbouleh, mushroom shawarma, and irresistible halloumi fries that left guests wanting more. When it came to satisfying sweet cravings, Little Flo’s adorable horsebox served up heavenly sweet crepes topped with fresh cream and Nutella, along with an array of other delightful flavours.
As the sun set and the festivities continued, our skilled bartenders from The Bartender stepped in, crafting an array of cocktails, beers, and shots to keep the celebration in full swing and everyone boogying.
Music was the heart of this event, and we pulled out all the stops to ensure an unforgettable experience. Our go-to DJ, Jambo, played a fantastic set as always, setting the perfect tone for the event. To add a personalised touch, the client’s own DJs worked alongside ours, creating seamless transitions and offering a range of music to keep the dance floor alive and diverse.
