Nestled in our clients sensational garden, we had a wonderful time helping close friends and family celebrate a special 50th birthday in the heart of Bristol.
Welcomed with a glass of champagne, we provided an array of irresistible canapes including fig relish and goats cheese, smoked salmon on scotch pancakes, mini sausages in honey and mustard, rosemary and Parmesan sable shortbread with marscapone and roasted cherry tomatoes.
An array of soft pinks and warming purples, the marquee (provided by CMC Marquees) looked beautiful when filled with a selection of blooming wild flowers and bursting bouquets. Suspended from the ceiling, hanging lanterns and pom poms provided a splash of colour against the festoon lighting.
Hand crafted by our professional mixologists, a variety of summer filled and taste bud tingling cocktails were on hand throughout the evening.
Perfect grazing food, we served a colourful buffet including seared and roasted beef fillet, poached and dressed salmon, summer vegetable frittata, hot new potatoes, roasted vegetable salad of celeriac, sweet potato, squash beetroot, and red onion, green beans and roasted cherry tomato salad. For a sweet treat, we circulated miniature Eton mess and chocolate shots with salted caramel – the perfect after dinner temptation! A selection of delicious cheese and biscuits were available through the evening for guests to enjoy at their leisure.
With a glass of champagne in hand, we invited guests to join our client on the dance floor for an emotional speech, thanking friends and family for coming together to celebrate her 50th birthday. As cheers rang out and the cake was cut, our brilliant DJ started the evenings dancing – we made sure to include all our clients favourite tunes and had the dance floor moving all night long.
For those guests in need of a quieter evening, we were on hand with cake and hot drinks to enjoy under a comfy blanket.
