Launch Party – Regent Circus

Swindon, September 2014

Alastair Currie Events were delighted to create a sensational launch party within this active building site. A not quite competition party was the perfect opportunity to give guests a glimpse of what is soon to be a brand new retail development in the thriving town of Swindon.

We arrived on site to be met with an operating and active building site, still adorned with workmen and bustling with machinery and movement. Dressed in high-vis and hardhats, we popped on the steel toe caps boots as we became fully immersed in site activities. Working side by side with the contractors, we transformed the site in preparation for the launch party. By the time performers arrived for their sound checks, it was unrecognisable.

As guests were welcomed with a champagne reception, we entertained them with a selection of aptly circus themed performers. Regent Circus came alive with astounding magicians, circus strongmen and aerial street performers. Finely skilled, brightly dressed and brilliantly engaging; the entertainment kept guests amused for hours and worked perfectly in the industrial surroundings.

Joined by a series of acoustic singers and jazz music, the atmosphere was relaxed and highly engaging. Guests were able to investigate, network and relax at their leisure – basking in the amazement of the buildings progress around them.

Served with scrumptious pasta from ASK Italian and gorgeous burgers from Gourmet Burger Kitchen, guests cook enjoy watching the food being cooked to order. With our LED circular bar, complete with bespoke branding of both our client and event sponsors – the party continues long into the evening.

As the night drew in, we lit up the site with colourful scanning lights, perfect for reflecting off the rapidly developing site. Creating both a warm glow and the perfect spot for guests to begin dancing with our hula-hoop artists, and of course engage in a quick photo opportunity with the strongmen. A warm, inviting and hugely successful launch party.
