Online Awards Ceremony

It was a pleasure to be able to assist in hosting this fantastic annual awards ceremony at our Socially Distanced Studios.

Working closely with our client over a six week lead-in we worked to produce an on-brand set design within the studio, complete with a custom suspended logo against the beautiful blue backdrop.  A full script and scene-by-scene program was developed, with backing music, graphics and pre-recorded content all woven throughout.

The stage set offered a fantastic scene for the three hosts to play around with different pairings and script interactions both with each other and awards winners dialling in.  The stage platform used by the hosts was built with social distancing in mind, to ensure we kept everyone safe.

We worked closely with the graphics and script teams to ensure that the live studio content really came to life – as the 500+ attendees dialled in remotely from Zoom rooms throughout the country.

The awards, which are usually hosted in real life, offered the opportunity for nominees and virtual attendees to don their finery and were then encouraged to showcase their award outfits using the hashtag for the evening – a great chance for attendees to feel part of the event as it was happening.

This online awards ceremony was a fantastic way of showcasing and celebrating achievements in an exciting yet COVID secure way.
