For over eight years we have been privileged enough to be involved with the Natural History Consortium’s annual Communicate conference.
Due to restrictions relating to the pandemic, the conference was unable to happen in the same format as previous years, so the team made the decision to stream the conference online for 2020.
The two-day conference had over thirty sessions, all streamed live from our Socially Distanced Studios just outside of Bristol.
With a live studio set up, we were able to film and stream live conversations with hosts in the studio and their guests via live video links from their homes.
Three hot desks were also set up with the ability to host various other sessions all of which were ran simultaneously, giving attendees a wide spectrum of live content to choose from.
Our client received fantastic feedback from attendees through social channels using the hashtag #communicate20. Many of the online attendees would normally not be able to attend due to factors such a travel and childcare – taking the event to an online platform allowed our client to reach over 800 online attendees, almost x8 the amount the event can usually host at their usual Bristol venue!
