Private Shoot Day

Gloucestershire, November 2017

We were delighted to be invited back to our client’s home to assist them with their annual Autumnal private shoot day and lunch in the rolling Gloucestershire countryside.

An exquisite menu by El Cuisine saw guests begin with a breakfast of with locally sourced bacon served in fresh baps, enjoyed with a mug of delicious coffee shortly before guests headed out on the shoot.

Returning after several hours, guests refuelled with elevenses composed of French onion soup with soup cream and chive stopped with friend breadcrumbs and Gruyere cheese, fresh pork sausage rolls with leek and tasty cheddar tarts. Served with a glass of Champagne and a slice of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

Once warm, guests ventured back out into the cars to finish the days shooting whilst our incredible florist arrived to transform the space for their return. Inspired by the colours of Autumn, the memorising centrepiece was bought to life with flickering tea lights.

Whilst the guests were out on the shoot our wonderful florist was hard at work creating a stunning Autumnal inspired table centrepiece that was brought to life with delicate tealights. Filled with heather and berries, warm oranges and and towering candles in vintage wine bottles. After freshening up and tending to the dogs, guests were greeted with a glass of fizz and were seated around the long table surrounded by the warmth from the open fire.

Guests of the private shoot day enjoyed a smoked salmon and poached salmon terrine for starters, followed by a rack of lamb was served with a traditional jus and herby potato cake along with a selection of seasonal vegetables; complemented by carefully selected wines. Little pots of date & pecan sticky toffee pudding and apple & blackberry crumble were served from slate plates, shortly followed by a variety cheese served with fine crackers and grapes accompanied by Italian roasted coffee.
