Special 60th Birthday Celebration

A special birthday celebration at home, with a striking stretch tent! Alastair Currie Events were delighted to help create two beautiful events, allowing close friends and family to celebrate a very special 60th birthday. We maximised the space within the garden and house by using both the client’s delightful orangery, and a stunning stretch tent.

Thursday evening saw the beginning of the birthday celebrations. We welcomed 15 of the client’s close friends with a glass or fizz, and a selection of wines and beers. Guests were invited to mingle outside, under the stretch tent, whilst being supplied with delicious canapes and continuous drink refills!

Beautiful soft pink linen adorned the tables under the stretch tent and in the orangery, along with glass jars filled with blooming flowers and candles to lend to the sparkling, twilight atmosphere.

Saturday’s celebration was for the client’s family to enjoy a tasty, colourful buffet, with freshly baked bread, a selection of cold meats and salad, followed by mini desserts, and perhaps everyone’s favourite, the “build your own” brownie! The family were welcomed with a host of drinks and were invited to sit both under the stretch tent, and in the orangery. The family were entertained by a fantastic magician, creating a lot of fun and surprises, and was a huge favourite with the grandchildren!

The two events were filled with such happiness and so much laughter, which made it such a special celebration. We were delighted to design and deliver such a fantastic occasion.
