The Station


The Station is a Grade II listed building just a short walk from Bristol’s shopping district and bus station, this hugely versatile venue offers incredible transport links across Bristol and easy access for guests.

Within a double height hall, the Performance Space within The Station includes a flexible, portable stage, complete lighting and sound provision, HD projectors, HD screens and furniture. Catering for upto 600 standing delegates or 240 seated, the Performance Space is ideal for public events, conferences, shows or music performances. Just outside the door, with capacity for up to 300 people, The Courtyard provides a rare sheltered outdoor space in the centre of Bristol is ideal for parties, festivals and markets.

As well as the main Performance Space and Courtyard, The Station offers a wide selection of ancillary rooms:

  • One to One Space – Comfortable, quiet and private, this space is perfect for a private green room for your performer before they venture into the main spaces.
  • The Dance Studio – Professionally equipped with sprung floor, ballet barres, mirrors and  PA system – practical and functional this dance studio is ideal for rehearsals, demonstrations or performances.
  • Chill Out – A classic drinks reception or a relaxed and informal networking event is ideally suited to this space, with capacity for 40 guests – it’s the perfect spot for a modern meeting space or lecture.
  • Meeting Rooms and Classrooms – Perfect for use a breakout spaces as part of a wider performance or exhibition.

Run by Creative Youth Network, the venue hire costs associated with this venue are used to help support their programmes and empowerment events for young people.
