Set in the heart of Clifton, this couple opted for a ceremony in Merchants Hall followed by a reception at the family home. Making the most of the incredible garden, the marquee boasted entirely clear walls and roofs to showcase the stunning surroundings. Our Clifton wedding couple opted for a natural style of decor; hessian matting and vintage plank board tables which were dressed in towering white gypsophilia and accompanying white hydrangea heads, surrounded by flickering tealights to compliment and reflect the festoon lighting overhead.
Guests made their way past olive trees and silver lanterns to the couples personalised seating plan, a vintage photo frame containing Polaroid images of each guest hanging on navy silk ribbon – proving enormous fun and a great talking point amongst the wedding part.
Sensational sharing staters including cured meats, lamb kofta, squid & chorizo, crab cakes, char-grilled courgette and broad bean falafels were served ahead of hugely popular burger and chips with decadent salads. Finished with chocolate, pistachio and rose water meringues, guests could enjoy fresh coffee and scrumptious cheeses throughout the evening. Inspired by their passion of cycling, we incorporated touches throughout their day to highlight this including table names and the bike printed cushions on the chill out furniture. Tucked in a secluded part of the garden, this sheltered space contained beautiful rattan furniture and patio heaters to keep guests warm and comfortable. Close enough to remain a central part of the action, guests were within ear shot to hear the arrival of the bacon baps midnight munchies.
After dinner cocktails including Caiprinha, Mojiti, Pisco Sour, English Country Garden and Espresso Martini’s helped secure the party atmosphere, aided by an incredible 7 piece band and our resident DJ the dancing continued long into the early hours.
A fantastic evening was had by all at this Clifton wedding, to find out more about how we provide event management and design across a range of events you can check out our Approach page.
