Vintage Wedding at The Downs School

The Downs School, August 2016

A beautiful sunny August afternoon is the stuff of dreams for most brides but for this particular ACEs couple it was a reality!

A stunning marquee in the grounds of The Downs School provided the perfect venue for this Bride’s and Groom’s wedding attended by 150 of their nearest and dearest.

‘Vintage French meets English garden’ styling with lots of personal details including beautiful bunting made by the Mother of the Bride made the space super special.

The tables were reminiscence of a French summer lunch – beautiful vintage glasses including delicate champagne saucers which really gave this wedding an elegant touch.

After their ceremony at Clifton Chapel the Bride and Groom along with their guests arrived to the front of The Downs School where they were greeted with a glass of fizz and were served an array of canapés which were enjoyed overlooking the Severn Estuary.

A sharing antipasto starter was followed by a summery duck main course and a delicious assiette of desserts.

After dinner trays of macarons and homemade liquors were delivered to each table, right before guests were called to the dance floor as the band played the bride and groom’s first song!

With guests dancing late into the evening it was a beautiful wedding for a very happy couple!
