Community Event at Passenger Shed

The Passenger Shed was the chosen venue for the ‘South West’ portion of the countrywide Generation Hope gatherings. A community lead project with an emphasis of bringing people together for a one off, special and very bespoke event.
Over a day and a half, a full stage set with extensive lighting and sound equipment were installed to create an exciting and vibrant conference space for this one-day event.
This South East based client required a large open venue, with great transport links (guests travelled from across the South West) and the ability to make the space exclusive for them and their attendees. ACEs provided full event management services to bring the client’s ideas to life; from development through to onsite management.
A bespoke truss stage set complete with 28ft wide screen, full light set up and show speakers created the focus for the event. Upbeat content created by members of the Generation Hope community both live and filmed were performed onstage to create an uplifting and energetic event. Stations under the colonnades served refreshments along with areas for guests to stand and watch if they so wished. Video cameras captured the event from start to finish offering a lasting memory of the performances and the energy within the room.
