October is upon us, which officially means we’re in the spooky season. With only a couple of weeks to go until Halloween, we thought we’d get our creative pumpkin juices flowing and give you some mystical motivation for your Halloween dinner party.
Leave your guests feeling spooked with a dimly lit room, filled with church candles and shadow casting uplighters. To take your theming to the next level you could even use invisible fishing wire to create the perfect illusion of candles suspending from the ceiling, floating between draping cobwebs.
Tables lined with entwinned foliage and gnarling branches, with bursts of orange and red to provide the perfect centrepieces alongside candles and spider filled jam jars. Stacks of ancient books piled onto the rocking chair, thrown into the corner amongst piles of suspect bottles and colourful concoctions.
Whether you choose to have a buffet or seated meal, there are endless opportunities to continue developing the spooky spectacle. Spicy soup served in pumpkin bowls, mains filled with Autumnal vegetables. A muddy walk in the haunted forest becomes a death by chocolate dessert, complete with cream served straight from the syringe. Candyfloss cobweb cocktails and dark twists of rum all served in sugar laced glasses with spider ice cubes and spooky straws, or perhaps a smoking punch bowl, just like a witches cauldron!
Served by our resident ghouls and of course some surprises throughout the evening, there is something quite hair raising about this party idea. Perfectly adaptable for children or adults, we will take care of all the tricks and ensure your guests leave with a take home treat.
To make the evening even more spectacular, have your guests arrive in their scariest costumes, ready for a night of fun, games, and lots of wonderful food and drink!
