As an event management company we’re all about the people, the experience and the fun. We take great delight in being the bespoke event planning company that brings together all the strands of clients’ dreams and design ideas into one beautiful parcel.
We love what we do and have great pride in it. We position ourselves as a planner for any event whether a conference or a dinner party, a celebration of life service or a wedding. We look to be a leader in the approach of really listening to the brief, doing the right thing and promoting the South West and all it has to offer. We have a fantastic team who shoulders the great responsibility of planning spectaculars that showcase the best of absolutely everything – the location, the guestlist, our wonderful suppliers (the extended ACEs family) and all the little personal bits that really make things special.
And these are the reasons why the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is so tricky for us to fathom and respond to (of course its brought everything to a stop – ahead of what would have been a jam-packed Spring and Summer of events) but it’s the connections we’re missing – the spark of the pre-show moment backstage, the first dance of one of our lovely couples, the reveal of the birthday cake at an 18th.
Our hearts go out to those affected by the virus, to those whose families and friends have been personally touched by Covid-19. To our clients, suppliers, venues and extended members of the ACEs family – we stand in solidarity with each and every one of you hoping for recovery, sending best wishes to those in need and heartily thanking the NHS and all frontline workers for their incredible response.
When the time is right Alastair Currie Events will get back to it – working to make things happen responsively and responsibly. Even if things might look a little different, we’ll still be here to make the magic happen. We will do everything in our power to sustainably, dependably and effectively deliver amazing events and experiences for all – always.
