After what has been an unusually quiet summer for the ACEs team, it has been lovely to look back at the selection of super special events we have created for our clients in this new normal that we are all living in.

In a time where we are all valuing the smaller things in life, coming together as friends and family has never felt so important. Working with clients who still had occasions to celebrate, albeit in safe and socially distanced way, we ensured that all guests and staff were safe, risks minimised and all government guidelines at the time were met.

Two events in particular really left an impression on the ACEs team; one an intimate wedding reception and another a diamond wedding anniversary.

The safety of guests and our staff was our number one priority. From the first instance our COVID planning put our clients at ease and took the worry out of hosting. Sanitising all surfaces and equipment, social distancing for all, clever seating plans, all staff wearing masks & gloves and of course having litres of hand sanitiser available in addition to rigorous hand-washing regimens, are just a few of the ways we worked onsite to ensure that the events were as safe as possible.

With all necessary precautions in place we could still create two very memorable events for our clients. With fewer guests to cater for, it was the perfect opportunity for our clients to choose an extra special menu. Of course, intimate occasions still need beautiful decoration – crisp linen, gorgeous place settings, beautiful menus, lots of candles and an abundance of British grown flowers.

Looking towards the final few months of the year, yes it will be slightly different to the winter seasons we are used to but there are still opportunities for fun and festive celebrations. In the coming weeks, we are supporting multiple clients to host virtual conferences at our Socially Distanced Studios in Avonmouth with our friends SLX. A wonderful benefit of bringing such events online is allowing more inclusivity for people who wouldn’t be able to attend such event in person – national and international speakers, and attendees.

Keep your eyes peeled for other exciting projects the ACEs team has in the pipeline, and if we can assist with anything do get in touch.
